Students who wish to meet in Microsoft Teams or by phone must send me a request in Canvas Inbox at least 24 hours in advance. Teams/phone requests will only be scheduled Monday – Friday between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM, as my schedule permits. No weekend, holiday, or immediately on-demand Teams/phone meetings will be scheduled. Some in-person meetings may be possible on a case-by-case basis. Don't hesitate to get in touch with me for details. I do monitor Canvas Inbox daily and respond quickly.

A handful of things about me:

I have been at Lake-Sumter State College since 2014 where I have served in many roles, including Faculty, Department Chair, Program Manager, eLearning Manager, and now Associate Dean of Workforce Development.
Originally from Vermont, I lived in Maryland (right outside of D.C.) for 14 years before moving to Florida in late 2013.
I am a lifelong New England Patriots fan, and I have been a Buccaneers fan since I first saw them beat the Falcons in 1983 (pre-season). I always root for the Bucs, unless they are facing my Pats.
I saw Star Wars Episode IV in the theater for my 6th birthday in 1977.
I am a massive music fan, having seen 70+ separate artists in concert since the 1980s. The band I have seen most often is Rush, with 13 different shows over 22 years.
I love to visit theme parks, especially Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. I could ride Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure all day if they'd let me. I also just discovered the Guardians of the Galaxy ride at EPCOT, which I highly recommend.
I have been a PADI-certified SCUBA diver since 2001. I have dived all over the Florida Keys and the Caribbean, my favorite spot being New Providence, The Bahamas.
